The Butterfly network of Living Labs and overseas sites accelerates knowledge transfer and uptake of new business models and serves as breeding place for multi-actor co-creation of knowledge and sustainable solutions, paving the way to pollinator stewardship in all sectors. The Butterfly project includes six Living Labs where various stakeholders will intensively work together in a multi-actor approach to put proactive pollinator restoration measures into practice. Butterfly’s Living Labs will work in close collaboration with Living Labs established in the RestPoll project (indicated with the bee-flower logo on the map above).
In addition to the Living Labs, the project includes three Overseas Sites that have been selected for data collection outside of the contiguous European Union. These areas represent contrasting climates, geographies and pollinator faunas.
